OUT IN THE PARK Canceled for 2020

It saddens us to report, that because Covid-19 continues to be a threat to us all, we must cancel this year’s OUT IN THE PARK at Six Flags Great America.

We thank everyone that held hope with us that things would be safer by now and bought pre-sale tickets. Refunds will be issued shortly, through Six Flags.

When the Governor’s office and the State of Illinois gave Six Flags a green light to open the water parks in July, it was a signal that the main park would open soon after. So all plans kept moving forward.

Now, with Illinois positive covid-19 cases moving upwards, the Governor’s office has NOT been communicating with Six Flags about opening the Gurnee park. Only silence.

We are now 4 weeks away from September 12th. We cannot faithfully promote and sell and tickets, then have the event ripped out from under us and have to refund hundreds of people.

The Governor’s office may very well still give Six Flags a green light to open soon. But everyone involved has decided it is best to quit selling tickets and pull the plug for 2020.

We plan to return July 17, 2021 for HEATWAVE!

and September 11, 2021 for Out in the Park!

Marcus Angel – Milwaukee

“Intuitive set that takes you on a creative journey through a variety of eras and genres that’s guaranteed to keep the party entertained and jumping.”

Born and raised in the urban landscapes of Milwaukee, Marcus Angel’s musical influences ranged from 70’s funk, 80’s Top 40, 90’s Hip Hop, House, and Alternative Rock! Immersed in the live music scene as a young man, Marcus Angel understood the hard work, discipline, and showmanship that came with being a high end performer. The transition from live music to a DJ began in his early twenties where he produced club mixes for a variety of venues in the 2000s. Though excelling in that area of music, Marcus took a break and re-entered the scene a handful of years later, but now as a live bar and nightclub DJ.

Since then, Marcus has made noise in dozens of Cities and States in the U.S. Though night clubs and bars are his typical evenings, he has an extensive resume in corporate, and private events performing at a variety of parties hosted by NFL players, Milwaukee Bucks, house name organizations, and has opened for marquee EDM artists.

In Milwaukee, WI, Marcus Angel’s home base, no venue is unfamiliar with his delicate and intuitive sets that blend a variety of musical genres, to form an evening of energy, excitement, and dance that everyone is sure to enjoy! Not only does his music set standards, but his attention to detail, work ethic, and dedications to his residencies is unparalleled.

“I take my job very seriously. I don’t take for granted the opportunities I have to perform in front of an audience, and embrace the responsibility I have to the Club and my dance floor on any given night. I’m blessed and fortunate to be able to express myself using a cornucopias amount of music I have lived though. With that experience I’m able to deliver a set that appropriately fits the vibe and personality of the venue, while being explosively entertaining and unique for the dance floor.”  Give a listen HERE.

MOOSE The DJ has been overactive in the Chicago events scene for 25 years, 7 of which as DJ and promoter at popular club/bar nights D.I.L.F., Otter, Tea in A’ville/Tea in B’Town, Cruisin’ and #NSFW at Sofo Tap, Mary’s Attic, Downtown Bar, Whiskey Thief, Replay, Hydrate and Jackhammer.
