3 Pop up DJ area’s New for 2019
New this year for OUT IN THE PARK, we will have 3 separate pop-up DJ area’s throughout the park!
Czarina Mirani (aka Czboogie) was originally a professional actress and dancer for most of her life with a serious love affair for House. In 2005 she launched 5 Magazine, North America’s only publication dedicated exclusively to underground House music. She has interviewed and worked with almost all of the House community’s biggest stars and continues to push for the next generation of talent.
Czboogie’s style of sexy Disco-infused House music has made her an in demand DJ all over Chicago, in cities around the U.S. as well as in Asia. She has had DJ residencies at Smartbar (Chicago’s number one club for electronic music), Evil Olive, Grandbar, Hydrate, 3 Degrees at Primary, Circuit, Crocodile, Uptown Lounge, Cocktail, Drop Chicago, and with the legendary Boom Boom Room (the longest running House night in the world.) One of the highlights was her Nu-Breed Residency with world-class House legends Cajmere and Chez Damier at Smartbar.
Czboogie has played alongside some of her favorite DJs such as Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer, Derrick Carter, Cajmere, Joey Negro, Osunalde, Chez Damier, Karizma, Spen, Mark Farina, Timmy Regisford, Miguel Migs and Gene Farris.
She is also part of the DJ collective The Untouchables with Farley Jackmaster Funk, Paul Johnson and Gene Hunt, 3 Degrees Global the Strictly 90s crews.
Aside from being the Publisher and Editor-In-Chief, she also does 5 Magazine radio shows and podcasts. She currently is doing ‘Cz’s Boogie’ which won New City’s ‘Best House Music Podcast’ as well as the ‘Conversations’ podcast where she interviews some of the most prominent names in the dance music field.
Loving all aspects of the House world Czboogie promotes several events in Chicago and has her own dance company (Fivestarboogie Productions) with dance performances and classes throughout the city. Her House dancing classes have been named by the Chicago Reader as the ‘best dance class in the city.’

Marcus Angel – Milwaukee

Born and raised in the urban landscapes of Milwaukee, Marcus Angel’s musical influences ranged from 70’s funk, 80’s Top 40, 90’s Hip Hop, House, and Alternative Rock! Immersed in the live music scene as a young man, Marcus Angel understood the hard work, discipline, and showmanship that came with being a high end performer. The transition from live music to a DJ began in his early twenties where he produced club mixes for a variety of venues in the 2000s. Though excelling in that area of music, Marcus took a break and re-entered the scene a handful of years later, but now as a live bar and nightclub DJ.
Since then, Marcus has made noise in dozens of Cities and States in the U.S. Though night clubs and bars are his typical evenings, he has an extensive resume in corporate, and private events performing at a variety of parties hosted by NFL players, Milwaukee Bucks, house name organizations, and has opened for marquee EDM artists.
In Milwaukee, WI, Marcus Angel’s home base, no venue is unfamiliar with his delicate and intuitive sets that blend a variety of musical genres, to form an evening of energy, excitement, and dance that everyone is sure to enjoy! Not only does his music set standards, but his attention to detail, work ethic, and dedications to his residencies is unparalleled.

MOOSE The DJ has been overactive in the Chicago events scene for 25 years, 7 of which as DJ and promoter at popular club/bar nights D.I.L.F., Otter, Tea in A’ville/Tea in B’Town, Cruisin’ and #NSFW at Sofo Tap, Mary’s Attic, Downtown Bar, Whiskey Thief, Replay, Hydrate and Jackhammer.
Previous venues and prestigious gigs include Park West, Midsommarfest, Northalsted Market Days, Pride North, Chicago LGBT Pride Parade, Union Station, City Winery, and now The Steppenwolf.

ADAM JOSEPH enetratinment for 2018
One of the leading forces in the queer underground music scene, Adam Joseph is not only an award-winning vocalist, he’s also the mastermind producer and songwriter behind other artists like Peppermint (RuPaul’s Drag Race S9) and Jonny McGovern (Hey Qween).
He has released 2 solo albums and been a featured vocalist on songs with Grammy Nominated DJ/Producer Bob Sinclar, Wet Fingers, Plastik Funk, Lem Springsteen of Mood II Swing and remixed by Bass Jackers, David Jones and Deeplomatik.
He has written songs for #1 Billboard artists like Inaya Day and Lea Lorien. His latest viral smash “Linda Evangelista“ featuring Aja from Drag Race S9 has been played around the globe and was featured on the reunion special of Drag Race where RuPaulintroduced it to the world as a masterpiece.
He’s been featured in Billboard, OUT Magazine, The Village Voice, The LA Times, LOGO, CNN and Paper Magazine. Adam’s live performance combines all of his talents—DJ, original productions and live vocals—leaving crowds amazed, intrigued, and hungry for more.
THIS YEAR we are doing something a little different with a more casual and intimate performance! Adam will be playing music and doing some signing in JB’S Bar located in the Southwest Territory!
Adam Joseph, the mastermind behind the viral house remix of Maxine Waters’ infamous “reclaiming my time” takedown, has taken a break from creating bitch tracks to show off his own vocal talent on “Thirsty.” The track, produced by Vito Fun & Koil, is an anthem for those who leave the bar a bit parched for some after-hours fun. The funky track has a throwback vibe and features a guest rap from RuPaul’s Drag Race season 9 runner up Peppermint.

The mysterious and alluring gender-bending Sir JET aka Joel Evan Tye is a popstar like no other. Todrick Hall @ Six Flags Diversity Night Sept. 10
Todrick Hall is a self-proclaimed queer, American singer, actor, dancer, director, choreographer, and wildly famous YouTuber!
He auditioned for the ninth season of American Idol, where he made it to the semi-finals. Since then, Hall has been performing on Broadway and YouTube.
As of January 31, 2016, Hall has exceeded 2 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. Videos on his channel have been played over 270 MILLION TIMES!
Videos of note include a flash mob thrown for Ariana Grande, a reinvention of the Wizard of Oz starring Pentatonix which was directed by and also stars Hall, and a Beyoncé themed flash mob performed in the middle of an actual Target store, which has garnered over 14 million views as of January 31, 2016, and which Beyoncé personally, publicly congratulated Hall on.

Spring-boarding his musical career during his 10 years living in New
York City with early musical roots in the East Village, Lieb took the
NYC songwriting scene by storm. After his first performance at Sidewalk
Café he was immediately swooped into meetings with producers, label
execs and collaborators of the highest caliber. After a year or so
exploring the big-labels, Eli put on the brakes and retreated to his
hometown of Fairfield, Iowa. It was in this rural refuge where Eli was

Honest, unassuming, and passionate, Jess Godwin possesses one of the
most dynamic voices both in and beyond the Chicago music scene. Combine
the music of Alicia Keys, Sara Bareilles, Norah Jones, and Stevie
Wonder, and you get the unique sound of this energetic redhead. Her
soul-bearing lyrics will touch your heart, and her music will make you
tap your feet and sing along at the same time.
Born in Atlanta, Godwin moved around a lot as a child – 5 states and
10 different schools to be exact! Eventually, Jess and her family
finally settled in Chicago. She has been a proud resident of the Windy
City for the past 14 years.
She has released four EPs, each one demonstrating her tremendous talent and wide-ranging musical influences: To the Heart of It, Quiet the Room (produced by Jan Smith, vocal coach to Usher, Justin Bieber, The Band Perry), Klutz, and her most recent self titled EP released in November.
